It is the time of the year again when we register our new Kindergarten students. Children who are born in 2013 are eligible to start Senior Kindergarten in September 2018. Children who are born in 2014 are eligible to start Junior Kindergarten in September 2018.

If you know of someone living in the Wilson Avenue Public School area that has a child born in 2013 or 2014 and they are not currently registered at Wilson Avenue, please have them contact the school at:        519-893-7050.

 

Step 1:  Online Registration

As of January 15, 2018, all new kindergarten families will complete their child’s registration form online at www.wrdsb.ca., select “Register for School and Programs (on the right hand side) and follow the prompts.

 

Step 2:  Call for an Appointment

Once registered you will need to book an appointment to visit the school and validate your registration.  Please bring in your child’s proof of birth (birth certificate, passport or immigration papers) as well as proof of residence (current lease, current utility bill or government document that includes your name and address dated within the last 30 days).  Please select a day (listed below) for an appointment for registration validation and information sharing.

 

Step 3:  School Visit

School data validation will take place at Wilson Avenue Public School on Thursday, March 1st from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. and Friday, March 2nd from 9:00 to 12:00 p.m.  You must register on-line before this appointment.  Time slots will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.  Please bring with you your child’s proof of birth (birth certificate, passport or immigration papers) as well as proof of residence (current lease, current utility bill or government document that includes your name and address dated within the last 30 days).
