It is with a very heavy heart that the Wilson Avenue Public School community mourns the loss of Sophia Jackson.  Sophia was a grade one student in Ms. Mariam Mroue’s class this year.

Sophia loved her younger brother. She was passionate about dance, loved to play Roblox and get into her mom’s make-up. She always looked forward to talking with her mom on Snapchat. Art was a big interest of Sophia’s and she spent a great deal of time creating, colouring and drawing. Sophia couldn’t wait to come to school each day and she loved her teachers. She will always be remembered for her kind heart and beautiful smile.

Flags at the Education Centre and the school will be lowered to half mast this week in Sophia’s honour.

Our thoughts are with the Jackson family.
