It is with a very heavy heart that the Wilson Avenue Public School community mourns the passing of Emmi Pulman- Edwards on June 18th, as the result of an accident on June 13th. Emmi was in Junior Kindergarten this year in Ms. Somwaru’s, Mrs. Jonas’ and Ms. Skane’s class. 

Emmi will be missed for her love of wagon rides and singing Baby Shark. She enjoyed time cuddling up with staff to read a favourite book and loved to play in the sandbox with her friends. Her infectious smile will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In honour of Emmi, flags will be lowered at the school and also at the Waterloo Region District School Board Education Centre.
